Almshouses dated 1914 on stone tablet on extreme left hand gable. Built for
Mary Dains founder of trust. Red brick with tile embellishments and plain tile
roof. Chevron tile bands. Brick dog tooth dentil course to gable verges. Brick
stacks with tile quoins capped with moulded brick and tiles. 'H' plan with
fronting gables to left and right hand wings; twin gables in centre. One storey
with attic in gable wings. 3 light casements with leaded lights; tile creased
quoins and heads to windows with elongated tile keys to centre gable windows.
Entrance doors panelled and half glazed.
