Details
HILPERTON ROAD 1. 5411 (South East Side) Nos 27 and 28 ST 8658 10/295 II GV
2. Said to have been built in 1827. Originally 3 houses. 2 storeys attic and basement. Bath ashlar. Draughted corner piers, band over ground floor and shallower band over 1st floor to projecting eaves of hipped slate roof. 2 stone chimneys. 1 small 2 light dormer. Originally 3, now 4 ranges of windows, glazing bar sashes; original windows with marginal glazing, extension to south west without. No 27 has 3 window return with projecting porch on balustraded terrace and round headed doorway. No 28 has central entrance in return with cast iron supports to lobby above and traceried fanlight.
Nos 27 to 33 (consec) and street wall in front form a group.
