Farmhouse, now detached house. Early C17, altered mid C20. Rubble
stone, hipped tiled roof with lateral stone stack with offsets on
front wall. Two-storey, 5-window, Chamfered pointed doorway to
right of stack with ledged door, 2-light ovolo-mullioned casement
and C20 casement to right, 2-light and 3-light mullioned casement
to left. First floor has 2-light, 4-light mullioned casement and
Tudor-arched light to left with C20 stair window and 3-light
mullioned casement to right. Left return has 2-light ovolo-
mullioned casement to first floor, 2-light recessed chamfered
mullioned casement to attic, C20 glazed door. Rear has C20 door in
Tudor-arched wooden surround, C20 three-light casement to left, 4-
light and 3-light C20 mullioned casements to right, reusing
sections of C17 mullions, first floor has four similar reset
mullioned casements. Mid C20 rear wing to left, partly timber-
framed with brick nogging, but stone to right return, C20 mullioned
casements with leaded lights. Interior not accessible at time of
survey (August 1986), but said to have been remodelled during
1930s, but retaining some early C17 fittings, including fireplaces.
