URCHFONT THE GREEN, formerly Back Lane SU 0357 (south side) 10/219 The Lamb Inn II Inn. C17. Timber framed, faced with brick, rendered to front. Thatched roof. Single storey, basement and attic, 2 bays. Entrance in C20 timber porch on west gable and second entrance to left bay over flight of steps. Loading door to basement from road. Margin glazed casement windows and 2 flush dormers. External stack to left gable and added stack on right front. C19 lower 2-storey extension on left. Rear wing C19 of 3 bays, 2 storey. Interior has chamfered parallel longitudinal and wall beams.
