Details
GREAT COXWELL SU 29 SE 4/99 Morys - II Farmhouse. Late C17, extended in the C19 and the 1930s. Rubble stone and dressed stone quoins in places rendered with roughcast. Stone tiled roof gabled at South end, half hipped at North with end and ridge brick stacks. South East front of 2 storeys and attic, 3 bays with modern 3-light leaded casements and 2 gabled dormers with stone tiled roofs and 2-light casements. Gabled central stone tiled porch and panelled door with 2 rectangular lights. Two 2-storey, 2-bay brick wings to the rear, one C19 with a gabled stone tiled roof, the other circa 1930s with a half-hipped pantiled roof and tile hung first floor. Ornamental wrought iron gate with the name MORYS incorporated into the design. No contemporary internal features survive.
