WEYBREAD THE STREET TM 27 NW 5/136 Fir Tree Farmhouse - -- II
Farmhouse. C16. Timber framed and roughcast-rendered. Pantiled roof with glazed black tiles to the front. 2 storeys. 3-cell form. 3 windows, C20 casements with paired vertically-boarded shutters. Cross-passage entry with C20 boarded door. Internal stack with rendered shaft. Good exposed framing on the upper floor. In the rear wall opposite the stack is a blocked original opening only c. 0.5m wide, with a 4-centre arched head; its function is unclear.
