A timber-framed and plastered house with C18 external features built on
an L shaped plan. 2 storeys. 4 window range on the east front and 2
window range on the north, double-hung sashes with glazing bars. The
south part (Ferns) has 2 two-storeyed canted bays, and the north part
(Lion House) has a single storeyed bay and a C19 double-fronted former
shop window with segmental headed lights. The doorways have moulded architraves
and cornices with 5-panel doors. Roofs tiled (old tiles), hipped on the
north and south ends.
