Details
NEDGING WITH NAUGHTON NAUGHTON 1. 5377 Church of St Mary TM 04 NW 38/820 23.1.58 GV 2. A small early C14 church with a flint and stone west tower with castellated parapet and stone bands to the upper part. The nave snd chancel are faced in cement. Nave roof tiled and chancel roof of slate. The south porch has C14 cusped bargeboards to the gable. The interior of the roof has C14 tie beams with arched braces and crown posts. The font is C12, with arcading. There are 6 C17 bench ends with poppyheads. On the north wall there is the remains of original wall painting. Graded for its architectural and historical value.
