GV II
Detached house. Mid-C17, C19 alterations. Limestone and flint in
bands and chequers, half-hipped thatched roof, brick stacks. Cl7
baffle-entry plan, now L-plan. 2-storey, 2-window front. Central
gabled porch is well-matched C19 addition, door with 6 fielded
panels has small ovolo-moulded casement over, the chamfered door
jambs are reused originals, either side is one 3-light ovolo-
mullioned window with hoodmould. First floor has two 2-light
ovolo-mullioned windows. Left return has two 2-light ovolo-
mullioned windows with hoodmoulds to ground floor, one 3-light to
first and one 2-light to attic. Right return has one 2-light
ovolo-mullioned window with hoodmould to ground floor and one 2-
light to attic. Rear wing in same materials and style is C19
addition; ovolo-mullioned windows and some C20 casements.
Interior not accessible at time of survey (November 1984).
