WESTHORPE THE GREEN (SOUTH SIDE) TM 06 NW 4/120 Green Farm House - - II
House. Late C16 or early C17 and possibly earlier, altered C19. Timber frame, plastered. Steeply pitched machine tiled roof. 3 cell lobby entry plan with 1 bay added to left or service end and 2 bay dairy wing to rear to form an L on plan. 2 storeys and attic. Lobby entrance in a C20 gabled porch to right of centre, 2-light glazing bar casements, paired on ground floor to hall and parlour and in right gable end with exposed plates and purlins. Axial ridge stack to right of centre between hall and parlour, left or service end added internal stack. To rear left 1 storey and attic dairy wing, to rear centre a low C20 addition. Interior not inspected.
