Details
EDINGTON INMEAD ST 95 SW (west side) 5/162 Whites Farmhouse 11.9.68 GV II Farmhouse, now detached house. Late C16, late C17 wing. Square- panelled timber-framing, hipped thatched roof, brick stacks. Entrance to rear of hall stack. L-plan. Two-storey, 4-window. C19 six-panelled door with flat wooden hood on brackets to left of centre, 3-light casement to left, two 2-light and 3-light casements to right. First floor has four 2-light casements. Left return has C20 steel casements, rubble stone ground floor. C20 addition attached to right return, not of special interest. Interior has moulded cross beams in hall to north, open fireplace with reset moulded stone surround. Winding stairs to first floor against west side of hall stack, planked doors.
