GV II

House, now house and shop. Late C16/early C17, remodelled and extended to right in early C18. Originally timber-framed. Front of knapped flint rubble with closely-spaced vertical brick strips; left side and rear wall of Flemish bond brick with flared headers. Half-hipped roof with C20 tiles to front and old tiles to rear; brick rear lateral and rear end stacks. L-plan with rear left wing. 2 storeys; 3-window range. C20 flat brick arch over C20 door. Segmental brick arch over horned sash to right; late C18 canted bay with C20 windows to left; late C19/early C20 two- and 3-light first-floor casements. To rear of left wing is one-storey, one-bay range of square timber framing with brick infill. Interior; full set of chamfered and stopped beams and joists to left. First floor and rear not inspected but likely to be of interest.
