House, late C16 with major mid-C19 alterations, 2 storeys, attics. Timber- framed, cased in red brick and extended to east and west. Plain clay tiled roof. Mid C19 sash windows and casements with brick label moulds. Western. added C19 bay has an oriel on brick-corbelled cill; another gabled, with decorative timber framing, on brackets. C19 2-storey brick entrance porch. Timber-framed 5-bay core has close-studding, diamond-mullioned blocked windows, and clasped-purlin roof with wind-bracing. The house stands outside the moated site of Little Saxham Hall (built c.1530, demolished 1773). To the north and east are sections of good C16 or C17 red brick wall, also a 2-arched bridge over the moat in poor condition,and not of special interest
