Farmhouse. Main range in 3 phases, principally C16 but part possibly earlier; mid C17 wing to rear (north) forming L-shape plan. C19 alterations. Timber framed, the front and right gable end faced in mid C19 red brick, the remainder with textured plasterwork. Roof plaintiled to front and pantiled to rear. 2 storeys and attic. 3-cell form. 4 windows, small-paned C19 casements under segmental arches. Cross-entry with C19 flint and brick porch; mid C20 door within porch. Internal stack, the lower portion of the shaft cement-rendered. To rear, an early C19 doorway with reeded architrave and cornice. The 3 cells of the main range are all of different dates; the parlour end may be the earliest but has a roof of later C17. Heavy joists in service end and in hall, one bay of the hall joists removed. Main components of frame exposed on first floor. Queen-post roof over hall.
