Details
The asset was previously listed twice also under the parish of Upton Lovell at List entry 1181867. This entry was removed from the List on 17 February 2026.
This entry was subject to a Minor Amendment on 17 February 2026 to reformat to modern standards and add A36 to the address. The name of the café was updated from “Happy Eater” to “Henge Masters”. The grid reference was removed from the Details text.

Boundary post. Circa 1840. Cast-iron T-shaped post with low pedimented top and raised lettering: CODFORD ST PETER P. / ASHTON GIFFORD T. on left arm and UPTON LOVELL P. on right arm.
One of a series of cast-iron mileposts and boundary posts on turnpikes radiating from Warminster, made by Carson and Miller a Warminster firm of ironfounders.
