Row of 4 cottages, originally almshouses. Mid C17. Colourwashed brick with
pantiled roof. Crowstepped gable ends. 1 1/2 storeys. A single range with a
symmetrical facade. 4 ground floor casement windows of mid C20 date, with
diamond-leaded glass. 7 gabled dormers with 3-light diamond-leaded windows,
probably original. Paired doorways: C20 boarded doors in original frames;
narrow 2-light leaded rectangular fanlights. A central square stack and
smaller stacks at the gable ends.
