House, c.1550, remodelled c.1970. 2 storeys. 3-cell cross-entry plan. Timber-framed and plastered. Roman pantiled roof once thatched, with axial C16/C17 chimney of narrow red bricks. Mid C20 casements, those at ground storey with transomes. Mid C20 battened and boarded entrance door with arcdhed head. Very fine framing exposed internally: 1st floor joists roll- moulded, main beams double-roll moulded with leaf-stops, roll-moulded mullioned windows, very closely spaced studding. Compare Fords Green, Bacton, (Item 2/34), certainly by the same carpenter. A single storey extension of c.1970 to right and others to rear of 2 storeys.
