DRINKSTONE THE STREET TL 96 SE 1/30 Church Cottage (formerly - listed as The Stores, 15.11.54 Church Cottages) GV II House, early C17 or earlier, and in two stages. 3-cell plan. 2 storeys. Timber-framed and plastered. Thatched roof. An axial C17 or early C18 chimney of red brick, the shaft rebuilt in C20. To left is an external C18/C19 chimney of red brick. C19 small-pane casements. C19 plank entrance door. The parlour block to right is higher than the hall block and may be an addition.
