2/172 Beanacre Farmhouse

II

Farmhouse now house. Late C17. Rubble stone. Stone slate roof with saddleback coped verges and kneelers. Diagonally set paired ashlar stacks. T-plan. Symmetrical 2 storey front. 3 windows. Central door has continuous string course raised above lintel. One single-light stone casement either side of door and one 3-light splayed and filleted mullioned window to sides; all below continuous string course. First floor has central 2-light mullion and one 3-light either side. Left return has one 12 pane sash on both floors. Right return has single stone moulded windows with drip moulds on both floors; these are blocked. Rear facade has 3-light ovolo moulded mullioned windows and 2-light in gable of Cotswold attic gable, to left. Central projecting wing has 2 storeys with 3-light ovolo mullioned windows and 2-light to attic in gable. All windows to rear have drip moulds over. Interior has been altered and no original fireplaces survive.
