Public house. Early C18. Limestone rubble with some squared and some brick dressings; old plain-tile roof with brick stacks. Three-unit plan. Two storeys plus basement. Irregular three-window front has a doorway between four-pane-wide sashes with a smaller sash to extreme right, all with segmental arches and brick quoins; at first floor are casements of three, one and three lights; left bay has a basement window. Roof has stacks to right of centre and to left gable. Small C20 extension to right and to rear.
