DORCHESTER BRIDGE END SU5794 (West side) 5/34 No.12 18/07/63 (Formerly listed as Nos. 34 and 35)
GV II
House. 1715 on datestone. Banded flint and brick with rubble and rendered timber framing; old plain-tile roof with brick stacks. 3-unit plan with rear outshut. 2 storeys plus attics. 3-window banded front, with brick stepped plinth, storey band and dressings, has a central combined door and casement with 2-light segmental-arched casements to outer bays and first floor, mostly leaded. First-floor datestone with moulded-brick surround is inscribed "CL/1715". Windows in left bay are an early alteration from pairs of windows. Stacks to right of centre and left gable. Left gable wall is of rubble; right gable wall is of rendered timber framing, with a leaded gable window. Interior not inspected.
