Pair of cottages. Mid C18, extended C19. Brick in Flemish bond; plain-tile roof
with brick stacks. 2-unit plans, extended to rear. One storey plus attic. Each
cottage has a 2-window front, with plinth and dentil eaves course, comprising a
central doorway between 2-light plank-shuttered casements, all with segmental
arches. The doorway of No.20 (to right) is now built up as a third casement.
Cottages have 2 gabled dormers each and share a large central stack. Higher
extensions to rear. Interiors not inspected. Part of the estate village built
c.1760 for the 1st Earl Harcourt.
