Terrace of four houses, now offices. Late C18 with minor later alterations. Stucco with painted stone dressings and slate roof. Four storeys plus attics and with semi-basement ground floor. Five bays, outer bays wider then those to centre. Symmetrical elevation. Ground and first floors have considerably recessed elevations with arcaded terraces to front. Ground floor has irregular elevation with three six panelled doors flanked by late C19 sashes, six plain square piers to front.

Flight of stone steps with wreathed iron handrail to right up to first floor stone flagged terrace which has six Tuscan columns in antis with simple iron railings between. Facade behind has central segment headed tripartite sash window with glazing bars, below tympanum decorated with swags. This is flanked by matching semi-circular headed doorcases with moulded architraves, decorated spandrels and fluted consoles supporting moulded cornices, doorcase to left is blocked, doorcase to right has six raised and fielded panelled door below traceried fanlight.

Beyond to either side are another pair of matching doorcases similar to those just mentioned but flat headed and with swagged friezes. Doorcase to right now has C20 casement within, doorcase to left has six raised and fielded panelled door and radial glazed overlight. To far left is a twelve pane sash in timber architrave and to far right is a similar tripartite sash window. Second floor has three full height bow windows with unequally hung fifteen and five pane sashes, and moulded cornices. Central one flanked by twelve pane sashes in architraves with cornices, side ones flanked by narrow moulded semi-circular headed recesses. Above, third floor has three central twelve pane sashes and tripartite sashes with glazing bars to outer bays flanked by narrow moulded flat headed recesses. All windows with projecting stone sills except the first floor bows. Substantial moulded cornice with blocking course. Four large swagged urns to centre three bays. Rendered and brick, ridge and end stacks. Gabled roof dormers to two right hand bays. Ground floor accommodation separate to that to upper floors.

Nos 19 and 20 both have open well stick baluster staircases with ramped handrails and profiled cheekpieces. Entrance hall to No 20 with moulded round headed arch through to staircase hall. Six raised and fielded panelled doors in architraves and moulded cornices throughout. Some original reeded fire surrounds.
