9/111 Old Post Office 25/4/69 GV II
House. Mid C19. Gritstone ashlar, horizontally tooled, Welsh slate roof. H-shaped plan in Gothic revival style. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Chamfered plinth Single-storey part-glazed wood porch infills central recess. Outer bays have 3-light windows with trefoiled and pierced heads under segmental arches, bay 3 window with hoodmould. Chamfered sill band to first floor with 2-light window to each gables of outer bays. Gothic moulded kneelers, copings with decorative finials. Projecting lateral stack to left. Right return : doorway with double-chamfered surround and segmental-arched head; a cross- mullioned stair window above. Included partly for group considerations.
