2/186 Musden Grange and 2/5/53 attached stable - II

Farmhouse and attached stable. C18 with mid-C19 additions. Coursed limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings; plain tile roof; brick integral end stack and ridge stacks. L-shaped plan; main range aligned north-west/south-east facing south-west with attached stable to the north-west on the same alignment, rear wing aligned north-east/south- west projects from the south-east end of the house. House to the right, stable to the left. House. 2 storeys and attic, rusticated quoins of unequal length to the right; 3 bays, chamfer mullioned windows, those to ground floor have straight dripstones, windows to ground floor right and first floor right have 2 lights, window to ground floor centre has 3 light cross-window and second floors centre, inserted single-light window to first floor left; door to left with ovolo-moulded surround and dripstone. Stable: central loft door approached by stone steps, small window to the right of the door.
