Entrance wall and gates to house. C18 with late C19 entrance gate. Brown brick wall
with red brick to gate, stone coping to end piers to left. Wall: 10 feet high and c150
feet long with two square 12 foot piers to left end. Wrought iron gates between. Red
brick gate to left in front of main house entrance c 15 feet high. Brick piers with
stone Doric capitals, moulded brick arch with keystone breaking into base of swans-neck
broken pediment containing central stone sphere on square plinth. The wall forms an
important feature in Station Road.
