Details
NEWDIGATE C.P. RUSPER ROAD TQ 14SE 8/190 White Cottage and Hasted 11/11/66 Cottage (White Cottage formerly listed as The White House') II Cottage. C16 and C17 with C19 and C20 extension to rear. Timber framed, frame of thin scantling exposed, with whitewashed brick infilling to right half; red and brown brick infill to left. Plain tiled roof with tile hung gable end to right. Two storeys with cross wing to right containing gable-lit attic. H- section stack to right of centre, rear stack to left and further stacks to right and at right end. One first floor window to gable end of cross-wing. Single storey gabled. porch range projecting on ground floor with door in left hand return front. Pentice to right end with one window on ground floor. One six- light under-eaves window to left of gable end by corner bracing, ground floor window below. Chimney bay with one first floor window and gabled brick porch below to centre. Three framed bays to left with three windows on each floor.
