II
Farmhouse. Late C17, early C18 porch. Coursed gritstone rubble, stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 windows to 1st floor. Gabled porch to left: of centre has large quoins and moulded quoined door surround. Moulded kneelers and chamfered gable copings. Within porch is the original chamfered quoined doorway with well preserved C17 oak door. To left a 2-light casement in double-chamfered surround without mullions, hoodmould. To right:, two 3-light casements in altered surrounds with projecting sill and plain lintel, linked by section of original dripmould. 3 similar windows to first floor. 2 ashlar ridge stacks with moulded string and cornice. Taller stable adjoining to left and lower asbestos-roofed barn adjoining to right not of special interest.
