6/110 Gate House Cottage 26-1-56 - II
Detached Toll-House. C18 with C20 refashioning. Stone walls, rendered and painted. Thatch roof, gabled. Brick stack at left hand, and rendered at right hand. 2 storeys. 3 windows, 2-light wooden casements with glazing-bars. Ground floor has a canted bay each side of front door. Single panes of glass, fixed, two to front and one each side. Front door at centre with recess panels, and one top light. C20. The slate-roofed outshut at rear is not of special interest.
