Farmhouse. Circa late C17. Roughcast brick. Steeply pitched pantile roof with coped gable ends. Rendered brick axial stack. Plan: 3-room plan with entrance lobby in front of axial stack which has back-to- back fireplaces heating parlour to left and central hall. The right hand bay has staircase at front and unheated room behind. The rear outshut is probably an addition. Exterior: 1 storey and attic. Asymmetrical 3-window south front. Three 4-pane sashes on ground floor in segmental headed openings. Doorway to left of centre. 3 gabled dormers with bargeboards and 2-light casements. Roof at rear is carried down over continuous outshut with doorway to left of centre. Interior: Much good C18 and some C19 joinery, including panelled doors, some fielded, some 2-panelled doors. Panelled partition in parlour with pilastered overmantel. Panelled partitions in hall. Fielded dado panelling and fielded arch panelled cupboard doors in outshut. C18 open-well moulded string staircase with moulded balusters; moulded handrail and square newels; including balustrades at top. Panelled partitions between chambers, one with dentilled mantel shelf, both with 2-panel doors. Parlour has chamfered cross- beam with convex stops and hall has chamfered cross-beam without stops and fireplace with C19 cast-iron range in C19 chimneypieces. Roof structure not inspected. Note: Some of the C18 interior joinery may have been imported from another house.

Cottage. C18. Probably gault brick, rendered with tiled roof and end parapets. Ridge stack. Lobby entry plan. One storey and attic. Three gable dormers. Segmental arches to three mid C19 four pane hung sashes on either side of doorway.
