1/356 Sign of The Dolphin (formerly listed 17.9.52 as Bridge Farmhouse) G.V. II
Farmhouse, now house. Late C17, with C18 additions to left and right, C20 alterations. Pennant rubble, limestone dressings, plain tiled roof with gable stacks. Symmetrical front. 2½ storeys and 4 windows, ground floor has four 2-light casements with wide ovolo mullions, continuous hood mould, central C20 door in heavy bolection-moulded stone surround, flat wooden hood on brackets; first floor has 4 similar 2-light casements with continuous hood mould, central keyed oval bull's eye in rectangular surround; 2 gables rising to ridge height, each with similar 2-light casement and hood mould, stone rainwater chutes from gutters to right, left and centre. Single storey addition to right and left, each with 2 similar 2-light casements under eaves, inner windows formerly doors; all windows with C20 leaded lights. Right return has C20 window with timber lintel at gable end of addition, timber member remaining at first floor level of main house. Left return has C20 2-light casement at gable end of addition, single light with hood mould at attic; C20 single storey rear wing with segmental- headed archway, door and 3 windows, single storey former stable attached to left with 2 doors and open fronted garage. Rear has single storey flat-roofed C20 addition along ground floor, at first floor single light to left and centre, 2-light casement to right with hood mould, 2 gables as on front, each with 2-light casement and hood mould, similar rainwater chutes. Interior: not inspected.
