SELLACK CP SO 52 NE 4/136 Burford Cottage
GV II
Cottage. Probably C17 with C19 extension and later alterations. Timber- frame with plaster in fill. Tiled roof and external sandstone rubble end stack with brick shaft. Two bays, with one-bay extension, aligned roughly east/west. One storey and attic. North elevation has two windows, mid-C20 casements of two lights in gabled dormers. Ground floor has three small mid-C20 windows, two to left and one to right of C20 stable door. Frame is three square panels high from cill to wall-plate which has angle struts to corner posts. To left is full-height extension with small lean-tos to front and side. The last has ledged entrance door and 2-light mid-C20 casement. Interior has truss with two posts, each supporting principals and tied back to wall-plates.
