G.V. II*
Farmhouse, now house, flat and office. Circa 1580 with C17 addition to rear at right, C18 refacing and addition at rear to left, and C20 addition at rear. Timber framed with close studding and angle braces exposed at rear, and later red brick additions. C18 refacing with white painted brick under building to jetty, moulded bressumer, and rendered first floor. Dentil brick eaves cornice to hipped old tile roof. 2 large C16 stacks and two C20 stacks to rear,and end stack on wing to rear at left. U-plan including 5 framed bays and later one framed bay wing to rear at right. 2 storeys with one storey wing to rear. 4 first floor horizontal sliding glazing bar sashes; 2 ground floor glazing bar sahes flanking 3-light C20 casement off-centre to left, and small C20 casement off-centre to right, all with panelled shutters. 6-panelled door with glazed upper 4 panels between first and second windows from right and gabled timber porch with decorative barge boards. Sun Insurance plate between first and second first floor windows from left. 2 entrances to south also. Interior: moulded beams, re-ordered linenfold panelling, C16 wall painting in first floor room to right and partially rebuilt C16 fireplace in ground floor room to left. 2 early C18 carved fireplace surrounds and C18 shell niche with carved surround in ground floor room to right.
