GV II

Farmhouse. Late C17 with later alterations. Squared sandstone, hipped Welsh slate roof, sandstone and brick external end stacks. L-plan with one arm extending towards to east and the other to the north. Cellar, two storeys and attics. South elevation has three windows, 2-light mid-C20 steel casements. Central glazed mid-C20 door under two acanthus brackets supporting C20 canopy and moulded strings above each storey. Two-light mullioned window to cellar on right-hand side, cellar entry to left-hand side. East elevation has three gabled dormers, mainly C20 windows with two first floor glazing bar sashes to right-hand side. To left of external stack is another 2-light mullioned window to cellar. Interior has four-flight late C17 dog-leg staircase with half-landings, bulbous balusters and deeply moulded strings. South-east ground floor room has late C17 plasterwork to ceiling consisting of garlanded central circular motif surrounded by four smaller circular designs.
