6/279 Wall, railings and gate piers about 10 metres east of Bath Lodge G.V. II
Wall, railings and gate piers. Early C19 probably by James Wyatt. Limestone ashlar, cast iron railings. Low semi-circular wall in 2 sections, each about 45 metres long, with spear-topped railings and square railing piers at regular intervals of decorative cast iron panels with knob finials; small square pier at each outer end on plinth, with banded rustication to sides, recessed rectangular panel to centre front, frieze, cornice, shallow stepped parapet with central recessed panel. Central pair of large rectangular piers on plinths, banded rustication with round-headed niche to front with pendant keystone, similar niche to rear and rectangular recess to each side, cornice, stepped parapet, rectangular recess with moulded surround front and rear; central gates with similar railings and diagonal struts, circular member centrally placed with shield of arms of Codrington family.
