Public house. Early C19 alterations to older building. Red brick. S. range has slate roof, hipped to right, with brick chimney to left and boarded eaves on paired cut wooden brackets. N. range has tiled roof, 2 brick chimneys and one rendered chimney to left. 2 storeys. S. front of 3 bays has 4-pane sash windows, irregularly placed, and all with cambered heads. Door between left-hand windows has marginally glazed fanlight and wooden surround of shaped pilaster strips and moulded cornice hood on scroll brackets. E. front of N. range has 3 bays with tripartite barred sashes flanking single sash to first floor, canted bay window with barred sashes to ground floor right, 3-light barred wooden casement to left and C20 window to centre. 2 board doors, that to left in wooden surround with plain hood on brackets. Some C17 timber framing inside.
