Details
LODDINGTON MAIN STREET SP 87 NW (south side) 5/43 No 1 (Lime Grove) GV II Cottage. Late C17 and C18. Coursed and squared ironstone with limestone dressings and Welsh slate roof. Single coped gable with kneeler. Central ridge and single gable brick stacks. 2 storeys, 2 bays. Baffle entry plan. West front has central C19 beaded panelled door with wooden lintel, flanked by single 3-light casements, that to right larger. Above, to right, a 2-light casement. North gable has to right a C19 casement in a blocked doorway. Both have wooden lintels. Rear has to left a lean-to glazed porch and a 3-light and a 2-light C19 casement, both with wooden lintels.
