Town house, now shop. Late C16, with later alterations. Coursed limestone rubble
with Cl9 front of squared stones; gabled stone slate roof. Right-angle plan.
2-storey, 2-window range front. C20 shop front; timber lintels over late C19
first-floor sashes. Range to rear, of limestone rubble with concrete tile roof
and brick ridge stack; of 4-window range (truncated to rear) with stop-chamfered
lintels over C20 windows and hood moulds over 3 late C16 chartered and
cavetta-moulded stone-mullioned windows of 2 and 3 lights. Interior: rear range
has stop-chamfered beams, with roll-stops to first floor. 8-bay collar-truss
roof with butt purlins. Roof to front, probably earlier C16, has arched
windbraces.
