2. Early C18, said to be 1739, 2 storey, each with near flush frame sash window at each floor with glazing bars, 4-panel doors. Shaped brackets remain to hood to left cottage. Stone, painted. Flat hood on iron brackets to right cottage, plaster colourwashed.
The Ferry Inn, Orestone Steps, Ferry Cottage and Old Watch House form a group with Nos 39 to 41 (consec) and Little End, Fore Street.
