House. C17. Coursed rubblestone, plaintile roof. 3 bays, 2 storeys with dormers. Set at right angles to road with wall running north-west along roadside. Door between right hand bays of north-west front has open gabled hood. Left hand 4-light stone framed and mullioned window, C17. Right hand 3-light timber casement. 1st floor has right hand 6-light C17 stone mullioned window. 3-light to centre bay, also C17 stone, left hand 3-light timber casement. All windows are leaded. Stone coped gable ends on kneelers. 2 2-light dormers to right hand bays. West gable stack and between left hand bays. To south west and fronting road is 1 bay, 2 storey C18 wing with old tile roof. Stone framed ground floor window, timber upper floor casement. Stone garden wall eight feet high with pantile copings. Half way along are 2 C18 entrance gate piers with moulded plinths, necking strings, cornice caps with ball finials, the piers somewhat repaired. House interior has C17 staircase with turned balusters and newel posts with round heads. [RCHM II 318 MON 7]
