Farmhouse. C17, C19 and C20 alterations and additions. Coursed limestone
rubble with stone dressings, asbestos slate roof at front, double Roman tiled to
rear with brick and stone ridge and gable stacks. T-plan, through passage.
1½ storeys and 3 windows, ground floor has two 3-light casements, 4 panes each,
chamfered surround and hollow-chamfered mullions, smaller 2-light casement to left
in chamfered surround, 2nd from right C20 glass porch with panelled and glazed
door (to right of ridge stack); large gable to right with coped verges, kneelers
and ball finial, 3-light casement as at ground floor, 2 smaller gables to left
each with similar 2-light casement and roll finial. Right return has large
external stack with pigeon holes to left; left return has large buttress, left
return of 1½ storey, rear wing has C20 window under eaves and small lean-to in
angle. Rear has C19 door with timber lintel, to left a blocked window with
timber lintel, 2-light first floor window with leaded lights, chamfered wooden
frame and mullion; inner side of rear wing has C19 door with cambered head,
2-light casement with similar head to right, rear of wing has C20 ground and first
floor window and lean-to. Interior: not accessible.
