TYBURN ROAD 1. 5104 Aston B24 Grand Union Canal Aqueduct over River Tame, just south of Salford Junction SP 09 SE 3/3 II 2. Early 1840s, this part of the Birmingham and Warwick junction opened in 1844, a brick built aqueduct of 3 low elliptical atone vousoir arches; deep roll moulded ashlar string and saddle back parapet coping, both broken forward over flat buttress piers of battered sides.
