GV II
Small farmhouse, now 2 cottages. Probably C17; altered. Cruck-framed with rendered and lime-washed stone cladding to front and gable ends, and brick rear wall; stone slate roof. Linear 4-bay plan (right-hand half said to have been former shippon). Single storey with lofts, 4 square 2-light casement windows; board door to right of 2nd, altered doorway with C20 porch to right of 4th. Two ridge chimneys (2nd coupled). Left gable has lean-to outbuilding, and loft window. INTERIOR: 3 full cruck trusses in internal partition walls (all concealed). Rare survival of cruck construction in this area.
