Details
DURSLEY WOODMANCOTE ST 7597 (east side) 7/74 No 27 GV II
House in row. Early C18; refronted c1830. Rubble limestone with roughcast facing on front elevation; brick chimneys; Welsh slate roof. Three-storey rear wing. Front: 3-window fenestration. Tripartite sashes to ground floor without glazing bars; 12-pane middle floor, and 6-pane upper floor sashes. Central doorway with moulded architraves and open timber pediment; C19 moulded door; narrow side lights. Two ridge-mounted chimneys. Rear: sash fenestration, one sash having Gothick glazing bars and set within round-arched opening; further similar sash to upper floor of wing. Interior largely remodelled c1830. Staircase with turned balusters and wreathed handrails; scroll brackets to open string.
