Church. Nave and chancel of 1875-6, north aisle of 1888 and baptistery of 1895. H. Woodyer. Early English style. Flint with Bath stone dressings and tiled roofs. Gabled bellcote on ridge to west with two openings and weathervane. Nave, south porch, north aisle, western baptistery, chancel and vestry.
Nave: Gabled south porch with double chamfered arch and three paired lancets to east. West end with two tall lancets and one above in gable. Baptistery below with six lancets to west and parapet.
Chancel: five lancets to south and triple lancets at east end.
North aisle: five bays with paired lancets. Gabled and half hipped vestry to north-east.
Interior: Nave: five bay north arcade with marble columns. Roof with painted and stencilled decoration. Chancel arch of two orders with hood mould and stops. Chancel: Triple shafted lancet to east with moulded capitals and bases; sedile and piscina to south. Painted and stencilled decoration on walls and roof added after the completion of the north aisle in 1588. Baptistery to west with two arches. Contemporary fittings include reredos, altar rails, pulpit and font, c1618 Dutch glass depicting The Tree of Jesse. This church is notable for the completeness of its fittings and internal decoration.
