1/35 Detached kitchen, barn and 17.9.52 granary 10m NW of Mudgedown G.V. Farmhouse (q.v.)

Detached kitchen block, barn and granary, now disused. Early C17, early C18 with later additions. Rubble, double roman tile and pantile roofs. The earliest part, at the south west is 1½ storeys, one room above, 2 below, all under gables, irregular fenestration ground floor door at south, first floor door reached by external transverse staircase at east. Interior has fireplace with bread oven, position of winder stair and extended collar trusses which are chamfered and stopped. Adjoining (perhaps truncating) this to the north is a barn with 2 parallel roofs, 4 bays in all, tie and collar tursses. Also adjoining to the east is a 1½ storey granary, 4 bays, the attic is entered by a transverse external staircase at the east and has tie and collar trusses.
