Farmhouse. Probably mid C19. Coursed squared sandstone, stone slate roof. Double-depth double-fronted plan with projected centre. Jacobean style. Two storeys and attic, 1:1:1 windows, the centre breaking forwards to form a 2-storey gabled porch; with a plinth, a moulded string-course and ridged gable copings with kneelers. The porch has a square-headed doorway with double-chamfered surround, board door with overlight, and a hoodmould with deep returned ends, and a 12-pane sashed window above; the flanking bays have 16-pane unhorned sashed windows; and all these windows have raised surrounds with double-chamfered reveals. Gable chimneys (that to right rebuilt in brick). The rear has similar fenestration, and a single-storey gabled porch in matching style. Forms a group with associated farm buildings round cobbled farmyard to rear: coach house and cart shed range on west side (qv), cottages (qv) and shippon range (qv) on east side, and barn at north end (qv).
