No 3B, Choir School and No 4 Dean's Yard

School Buildings. c.1915 by G. Wallace. Red brick with stone dressings, slate roof. Free Style Jacobethan. 5 storeys, basement and attic storey partly open as roofed playground. 14 windows wide in all, with 8-bay central range and asymmetrical, gabled flanking bays of 3 windows each. Right hand gabled group advanced,with stone faced basement and ground floor, has 2 adjoining doorways that to right with oriel rising above and that to left splayed with curved cornice-arch with coat of arms over. 2 and 3- light flush mullioned windows, those above left entrance set in stone faced through-storey recess carried up to top floor flat oriel. Main range with stone faced basement and ground floor, has cross mullioned windows and 2 large oriel bays. Top floor open as playground loggia terminating to left in shallow gabled bay. The left hand gabled group has recessed right hand bay. Recessed 4-centred arch porch with drip mould, small stair lights above; large 5-light flush mullioned-transomed windows to left. Stone coped parapets and gables.
