House. Lower part to left has been rebuilt and extended C20 but incorporates part of one cruck blade and 2 chamfered spine beams. Taller bay to right is late C16-C17 and has concealed timber frame with curved braces. Exterior is rendered and colourwashed, the left bays with C20 tiled roof, the right bay thatched with chimney partly of thin brick to left. One storey and attic - 1½ storeys, 3 bays. Left bays have C20 3-light metal casements, those to attic in eaves-line dormers. Right bay has C19 3-light wooden casement to ground floor and 2 paired wooden casements in thatch, one with imitation leading. Lobby entry to left has 6-panelled door, top-lit, in C20 gabled timber and glazed porch. Interior: ground floor room to right has some re-used C16-early C17 panels, panelled door and winder staircase with shaped splat balusters to landing. RCHM II p. 270 Mon. 14
