Artisans' dwellings. 1897 by R.S. Wornum. Red brick with rich stone dressings, slate roofs. Queen Anne style with well executed details. 3 storeys, basement and dormered mansard. 3 recessed 6-bay ranges link 3 advanced, pediment gabled, one window stair towers, that to left corner canted. The latter has aediculed doorway whilst the other 2 towers have doorways with large shell hoods. Flush framed segmental arched glazing bar sashes. The 2nd and 3rd floor stairtower windows set in arched recesses with flush quoins and with segmental pediments to 2nd floor. Bold modillion cornice. The doorway to No. 19 has same details as those of No 5 Broad Court. Cast iron area railings with urn finials. Included for group and social interest only.
